5 Events We Are Being Warned About

Does racism still exist?

www.americanthinker.com

By Bob Weir

We’re always hearing that we’ve come a long way in ending racism, but there’s still a long way to go.  Really?

Will someone please tell me where racism exists today?  Obviously, our country has a long history of slavery, which ended about 150 years ago.  In addition, various forms of discrimination continued for about a century after the Emancipation Proclamation.

However, during the last half-century, blacks have made monumental gains in business, education, politics, sports, movies, and every other category you can name.  Our country has had a black president elected for two terms, defeating white candidates by wide margins.  Keep in mind that blacks represent about only 12% of the population.

Moreover, we now have a black female vice president, black senators and congressmen, black governors and mayors, and a myriad of blacks in various political offices throughout the country.  Furthermore, there are several black billionaires in the U.S., including Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Tyler Perry, Robert Smith, Kanye West, and Jay-Z.

Then there are scores of blacks who are college deans and presidents.  Some of the most famous and successful actors in Hollywood movies are black, including Denzel Washington (my favorite actor), Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker, Wesley Snipes, and on and on.  In sports, there are so many famous athletes that it would take reams of paper to list them all.

Nevertheless, every time I hear from some politician, usually a Democrat, I’m told that much more needs to be done to stamp out the “scourge of racism” in our country.

By the way, as that canard is being used, several black extremists are calling for the end of the white race.  Imagine what would happen to a white person who called for the extermination of all blacks.  In fact, it’s hard to find a white person to disagree with blacks on issues because white people fear being called racists.

Yes, we can refer to those anti-white blacks as racists, but in this politically correct climate, such accusations would never get much traction from the media.  How many Democrats have you heard chastising black television commentators for trashing the white race?  When MSNBC racist Joy Reid says whites should stop having kids, is she admonished for her racist remarks?  When Black Thugs Matter calls for the murder of whites, are they called black supremacists or racists?

The fact is that one would be hard pressed to find any area of American life in which blacks are being denied anything because of their skin color.  Such a fact is not lost on many blacks who, when passed over for a job, promotion, salary increase, or special award, immediately toss the race card into the arena.

It doesn’t matter that they know they’re not qualified or deserving of a particular benefit.  Apparently, they have decided that making false allegations of racism is the most important qualification.

Next to being called a pedophile, being called a racist is the most abominable and reputation-destroying accusation to be leveled at anyone.  It seems to me that such accusations border on slander.  Do you know of any people being sued for such irresponsible rhetoric?  The trial would only bring more unwanted attention to the person defending against the charge.

America Is At A Crossroads, With The Wrong Choice Leading To Disaster

Most of us cannot evaluate equivocal information, which is essential to project future trends and events—“forwardcasting,” as I call it. In ancient times, we read the entrails of some poor beast or threw a roll of some old bones to see the future.

Our current tendency to view everything through a prism of victimization, coupled with DEI imperatives over rational analysis, has led us to misunderstand our history and blinded us to future destruction. Let’s take off the blinders to see what we’re doing wrong and how our enemies benefit.

Aerospace is the broadest and most important contributor to our exports. Virtually every facet, from airliners, spaceships, and warplanes, all now costing two to three times what they should or are years late and suffering from interminable quality issues.

This seemingly came out of left field, and we see Boeing falling over a cliff, producing the smallest number of aircraft in decades with no new clean-sheet airliner projects on the horizon because Boeing is broke and is no longer technically competent!

The US Navy’s new ship construction is declining even as costs and schedules soar. According to the new Biden budget proposal, China will add 20 new warships while we decommission six. Over the next 20 years, we’ll lose 20 combatants while China adds 40 new warships. Why? We can’t build on time or budget any longer.

Supplying Ukraine and other allies with vital weaponry has revealed that our defense industrial base is not up to the task of fighting a high-intensity war.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is at its lowest level since 1983. It is only half-filled today after recent drawdowns by the Biden administration to artificially lower gas prices for American drivers solely for political purposes. Did you hear that Biden just took another million barrels from another reserve to try to lower prices temporarily?

Is the US lawless as most Americans feel, or seeing some of the lowest crime in a generation, according to Biden? The answer could be the former, as the FBI underreports crime. Why?

Can Johnnie read and do math? Only 16% of Americans believe we are going in the right direction with education. The majority of high school graduates are functionally illiterate by the standards of fifty years ago. CLICK TO CONTINUE

Entire Financial System Can Go Down Soon

Dr. Chris Martenson holds a PhD in pathology from Duke University, is a futurist and an economic researcher.  Dr. Martenson was one of the very few scientists who called BS on the FDA’s approval of Pfizer’s CV19 vax back in August 2021.

Dr. Martenson went on the record to say, “Comirnaty CV19 Vax Approval is Actually Fraudulent.”  Now, Dr. Martenson is out warning about a new kind of fraud that could leave you broke in the next financial disaster.  Dr. Martenson thinks financial trouble of Biblical proportions could be coming sooner than most people think.

Dr. Martenson is not worried about a brokerage going under, such as Lehman Brothers in the 2008.  Martenson is worried about the entire system melting down and says, “When the system freezes up, they get really scared.

If you are not a complete moron, you would make that system smaller because it scared you that much, but instead, they made it even bigger. . . . We not only have to worry about a brokerage going down, but we now have to worry about these clearing parties.

These are the houses that are supposed to be clearing all the trades with the derivatives and the loans. . . . The law says the brokerages have to hold your shares and bonds you have in a proportional amount.  They don’t hold them.  A higher company does that . . . . and you can’t peer into them.  It you want to see what Fidelity or Schwab has . . . . I found out you cannot see an audit trail.”

In a new market meltdown, Dr. Martenson sees chaos and gives a hypothetical example: “China attacks Taiwan, and there is a 10 sigma move in the bond market.  Oh no, all these derivatives have blown up.  These people are supposed to be winners, and these people are supposed to be all losers.

No, no, they don’t have any money for that stuff.  It’s too complicated.  I don’t think anybody understands how this works anymore.  I could not find anybody who could tell me the whole thing.  I could find people who knew bits and pieces, but they knew their slice.

I am trying to stitch this thing all together.  I get uncomfortable when I can’t answer the most basic questions, and that is how much risk is there in the system and where is it?”

In short, Dr. Martenson is worried about the whole financial system going down.  Dr. Martenson says, “Yes, I am worried about the whole system going down, and that leads to all sorts of speculation. . . . Imagine this, we wake up one day, and the markets are not open on Monday.  Oh no, glitch.  Problem.

Then, it’s two days and not open, three days not open.  People are getting worried.  Friday, and the markets are still not open.  Monday comes, and they say it’s a super big problem, and we don’t know how to resolve it. . . . They offer you 100% value today in a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) account or you can wait it out and hope it gets resolved, and it might take a decade.”

Dr. Martenson likes gold, silver, land and basically all (clear title) physical assets to protect you from “The Great Taking.”  Martenson has an upcoming seminar with “The Great Taking” author David Webb (and others) to help you to counter the theft that will surely come in the next financial meltdown.

In closing, Dr. Martenson says, “This has been a series of large amplitude blunders that keep getting bigger and bigger.  The Great Taking” is the framework built, that just in case all this colossal blundering blows up, Congress and Wall Street flips a coin and you get heads we win and tails you lose.  This is the oldest story in the book.”

Let Love Guide Our Discussions – 1 Timothy 1:5-6

Let love guide your discussion

But the aim of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Some have strayed from these and turned away to empty discussion.

1 Timothy 1:5-6 NET

Paul had sent Timothy to Ephesus because of false teachers who had crept into the church. These men were teaching false doctrines and promoting useless speculations rather than God’s redemptive plan (1 Tim. 1:3-4). And Timothy was to instruct these men to stop.

But stopping the spread of false teaching was not enough. Jesus’ letter to the church in Ephesus (Rev. 2:1-7) indicates that they had silenced those promoting false doctrines. But Jesus still had something against them. They had left their first love. And that was a serious matter.

Doctrinal integrity should promote love. Love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. As we teach, learn, and discuss God’s word, it should be with the goal of moving us toward loving God with all we are and loving those around us–promoting Christlikeness.

But how often are we so concerned about promoting what we believe is the correct doctrine that we forget the goal of promoting love and unity? When we do, our teaching and discussion of the Bible become nothing more than an empty discussion.

Having correct beliefs is important. And countering false doctrine and useless speculation is good. But as we do, we should never lose sight of love. Each of us should seek to have a love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith–a love that should be reflected in our doctrinal discussion with other believers.

And the goal of our doctrinal debate should not be simply to teach or correct. It should be to promote love. Let love guide our discussions.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
